Conditions of Booking

Rental period: Rental will start at 4.00pm on day of arrival and end on 10.00am on date of departure, unless previously agreed with La Janda Properties SL. La Janda Properties SL will need to know your exact arrival time to arrange keys etc., especially if you plan to arrive late in the evening.
Number of persons: Without the permission of La Janda Properties SL the number of persons staying in the accommodation will not exceed that stated on your rental agreement. La Janda Properties SL has the right to cancel your reservation immediately without refunding any monies paid should the number of persons staying in the accommodation exceed that previously agreed.
Reservation and payment: Once we have confirmation of your booking, you will receive a rental agreement and an invoice for the 20% deposit. This amount should be in our account within 7 days after the reservation is made. Please be informed that we have the right to cancel your reservation if your payment is not received in time. Payment of the balance of the total rent should be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. Methods of payment will be discussed on confirmation of booking. If the balance is not received within this period, La Janda Properties SL has the right to cancel your reservation immediately without refunding any funds already paid (see cancellation details). In the case of last minute reservations, we ask that a full balance be paid immediately on confirmation of booking.
Prices: Prices are in Euros and valid in accordance with those on our web-site at the date of booking. They relate to the current year. Prices for the following year are available on request. All prices are per accommodation, per night and include the use of gas (if applicable), water and electricity.
Animals and children: We regret that we cannot accommodate animals in any of our properties. Children under 14 should not be left in the property unaccompanied by an adult (18 years or over) at any time.
Cleaning: The house will be clean when you arrive and a change of sheets and towels will be provided each week (if applicable). We ask that you leave the property in the same condition as when you arrived and that any breakages are either replaced or paid for by you.
Responsibilities of the tenant: During the whole rental period the tenant is responsible for the accommodation and all matters belonging to it. On the day of your departure a representative of La Janda Properties SL will pick up the key and check the accommodation. Any damage to the property must be reported to La Janda Properties SL immediately.
Responsibilities of La Janda Properties SL: La Janda Properties SL will ensure that the accommodation is in good order when you arrive, meaning that it should be clean and equipped with all items as described on our website. Problems that occur should be reported immediately to La Janda Properties SL.
Cancellation by La Janda Properties SL: Should any unforeseen circumstances arise
resulting in La Janda Properties SL having to cancel the reservation, every attempt
will be made to provide, where possible, alternative accommodation. If the tenant
does not wish to accept the alternative, La Janda Properties SL will refund any payments
made immediately. Claims for further damage due to the cancellation will not be accepted.
Cancellation
by the tenant: All cancellations must be made in writing to La Janda Properties
SL. The date of receipt of the cancellation letter will determine the following:
For cancellations made by the tenant more then 10 weeks before the start of the rental period, La Janda Properties will refund any payments made.
For cancellations made by the tenant more then 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, La Janda Properties will refund any payments made less the 20% deposit.
For cancellations made by the tenant less then 6 weeks before the start of the rental period, the cancellation costs will be 100% of the total rent.
We strongly advise you to take out holiday insurance that includes cancellation cover.
Smoking: According to the law of 28/2005 smoking is prohibited in the apartments.
